🎉 Congratulations, New Insights into the Formation of Lead-Free Double Perovskite Nanocrystals

We are pleased to share that our latest study, led by Dr. Samrat Das Adhikari, and Prof. Daniel Prochowicz has been published in the prestigious journal Small Method. This study (Halide-Triggered Oxidative Etching as a Key Step in the Formation of Lead-Free Double Perovskite Nanocrystals) demonstrates that the In-situ formed Ag(0) intermediate governs Cs2AgBiBr6 double halide perovskite nanocrystal formation. Herein, the oxidation of Ag(0) to Ag+ is driven by the crystallization of double-perovskite lattice.
