Our new paper is out!
Excited and very grateful to share this fantastic work, led by Dr. Daniel Prochowicz & Dr. Apurba Mahapatra, published a few weeks ago in #RSC “Materials Advances”. This paper entitled “Mechanochemically-Assisted Synthesis of 3D, 2D and quasi 2D Lead Halide Perovskites for Supercapacitor Application” shows a comparison of MAPbBr3 electrode from single crystal and mechanosynthesized powders and demonstrates ~2 times improvement in energy storage devices. In addition, Quasi-2D mechanosynthesized electrodes show higher areal capacitance (∼209 mF cm−2) and specific capacitance (∼138.35 F g-1), attributed to increased surface area.
